Kids or Juniors Classes - Six Weeks

KPC Kids (Ages 6-10) – Tues/Thurs at 6pm, Saturdays at noon

Do you have a child 6-10 years old and want to introduce them to self-defense training?

KPC Kids is a kid-friendly version of our regular Self Defense 101 curriculum, led by head coach Thor.

Classes start with a warm-up, followed by a technique portion, a self-defense lesson, and then an active game to burn off some of that end-of-the-day energy!  Program themes include respect, awareness, assertiveness, and responsibility.  Each week a new “mission” is assigned, to help improve observation skills, physical conditioning, etc.  Missions include having kids draw a map of the escape routes from their home, complete push-up or squat challenges, or memorizing a trusted adult’s phone number.

Intake: anytime

Class Length: Tuesday and Thursdays, 55 minutes.  Saturdays, 90 minutes.

The Saturday class is a repeat of the material from the previous week’s Tuesday/Thursday classes. Students who missed one of the weekday classes or those who just want more practice can come to the Saturday class to catch the same material. 

KPC Juniors (Ages 10-15) – Tues/Thurs at 6pm, Saturdays at noon

KPC Juniors is an adapted version of our regular Self Defense 101 curriculum, aimed at ages 11-15, and led by head coach Thor.

In this class, your child will learn the basics of self defense.  In this class, they will cover many of the same topics and do many of the same drills as our adult class, just with kids their own age.

Intake: anytime

Class Length: Tuesday and Thursdays, 55 minutes.  Saturdays, 90 minutes.
